Documentation to be asked in the home country:
- Legalized*** birth certificate (translated if needed)
- Legalized*** criminal record (translated if needed)
Procedures once the person arrived to:
- Certified copy of the passport (translated if needed)
- three passport size photographs
- Fingerprint registration sheet. (given by the Public Security Ministry)
- ¢375 deposit at the BCR (Banco de Costa Rica) account number 242480-0
- Fill the affiliation form (with exact address)
- Institution´s solicitation letter
- Registration certificate
- Proof of registration from the Public Register Office of your home country
- Proof of deposit of $ 200 in the account number 242480-0 of the Banco de Costa Rica. If the student does not enter the country without the student visa
- Employer's copy of orden patronal provisional. This procedure can be performed through TEC’s Social Work Department
***Legalized: to legalized or certified a document the student must take the original document the Chancellery or Foreign Office of their home country, then the person must take the documents to the Embassy in Costa Rica, and finally to Chancellery in Costa Rica.
