PARMA group was visited by the Semanario Universidad newspaper, of Universidad de Costa Rica, during this interview the researchers of group Saúl Calderón, Manuel Zumbado, Martín Solís and Fabián Fallas spoke about the project of estimation of bone age to identify growth disorders of children and how participation in an international biomedical image processing competition helped them to improve this technology.

Transfer this technology to the daily life of the Costa Rican society, and it seems to me a priority that this be transferred to the public health system so that it has an impact in the short and medium term (Saúl Calderón, PARMA coordinator and researcher).
